Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate RCFE Assistant Administrator to join our dedicated senior care team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the overall management of our assisted living facility, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to residents while maintaining compliance with state regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the assisted living or retirement home, ensuring high-quality resident care and safety standards are met.
- Supervise staff members, including caregiving teams, nursing personnel, and administrative staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee the development and implementation of personalized care plans for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
- Ensure medication administration is performed accurately and in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with state licensing requirements and maintain thorough documentation for audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive nursing and social work services tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Manage budgets, control operational expenses, and contribute to financial planning efforts for the facility.
- Lead efforts in resident engagement activities that promote independence, dignity, and community involvement.
- Support residents’ families by providing updates on care progress and addressing concerns proactively.
- Uphold a safe environment by conducting regular safety checks, emergency preparedness drills, and incident reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a focus on senior care or developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within long-term care settings or group homes.
- Strong background in Alzheimer’s care, memory support programs, or dementia-specific services.
- Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Knowledge of home & community care practices alongside operations management skills.
- Experience working with residents requiring social work interventions or mental health support is preferred.
- Competence in budgeting, financial acumen related to healthcare operations, and medication administration protocols is highly desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
