As a Certified Medical Assistant at BHN you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Responsibilities include:
- Take vital signs
- Assist with intake assessments and medical histories
- Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition
- Update medical records and patient charts
- Encourage a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course or equivalent (required).
Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral health, or recovery setting (preferred).
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery.
Pay: $27.00 per hour
SHIFT: 7am - 2:15pm, 4 days a week (25 hours per week)
