POVISON is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to support our U.S. logistics operations, with a primary focus on last-mile delivery performance and customer experience. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments, coordinating with warehouses and carriers, resolving transportation exceptions, and ensuring successful delivery to end customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the entire post-shipment process for direct-to-consumer (DTC) orders, from warehouse dispatch to final delivery at customers' homes. Monitor warehouse operations and carrier exceptions in real time, including pickup delays, delivery issues, and other shipping disruptions, to ensure on-time shipment and successful delivery.
- Continuously track shipment status throughout the transportation process. Handle transportation exceptions, including transit delays, damaged shipments, lost packages, and other logistics-related issues, and drive issues through to resolution.
- Respond promptly to logistics-related requests and issues raised by the Customer Service team, including address changes, expedited delivery requests, shipment intercepts, and other customer needs. Collaborate with carriers to provide effective solutions and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Proactively identify orders that may develop into service exceptions based on historical exception data, transit milestones, and carrier performance metrics. Examples include shipments not picked up by the shipping deadline or orders with prolonged tracking inactivity. Take preventive actions, such as notifying warehouses or carriers and escalating issues when necessary, to minimize disruptions before they occur.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above. Majors in Logistics Management, Statistics, Accounting, E-commerce, or related fields are preferred. Previous experience in cross-border e-commerce is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other commonly used functions. Strong logical thinking, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with Customer Service teams, warehouses, and carriers. Ability to independently draft professional business emails, such as communicating shipment exceptions with overseas carriers, responding to logistics inquiries, and providing shipment delay updates.
- Strong data sensitivity and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risk signals from shipment tracking data and customer feedback and propose preventive solutions. Possesses strong risk awareness and takes a proactive approach to issue resolution rather than reacting passively.
