Nello Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Assistant to support daily office operations and administrative functions.
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys staying busy, can manage multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems
- Assist with project documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry
- Support administrative and accounting functions
- Assist with vendor, subcontractor, and employee communications
- Track and maintain permits, registrations, insurance certificates, and other compliance-related documents
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and office schedules
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and office correspondence
- Assist with special projects and day-to-day office operations as needed
Qualifications
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Construction office experience is a plus but not required
