The center is a tight-knit group of less than 25 employees with a set work schedule. They work together through daily challenges and victories, and also laugh a lot and play together at workshops and parties. It is their dedication and hard work that has earned The Little Academy a 5 Star rating from the Louisiana Department of Education. Our cooks are completely responsible for the kitchen. Responsiblities include ordering food/supplies, prep and cook meals/snacks, clean and maintain kitchen, and paperwork. Cooks must be consistent in attendance, have reliable transportation, and be able to work Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Candidate should be able to maintain professional relationship with all staff and families, as well as be able to bend, stoop, and pick up 40 pounds.
