We are seeking a motivated and skilled Water Truck Driver / Roller Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating water trucks to control dust and provide moisture on construction sites, as well as operating rollers to compact soil, asphalt, and other materials to ensure a stable foundation for various projects. Responsibilities
- Operate water trucks to spray water on roads, construction areas, and materials to suppress dust and maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Drive and maneuver roller compaction equipment to achieve proper density and stability of soil, asphalt, or other materials.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of all equipment, ensuring safety and functionality before use.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and daily activities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as water trucks, rollers, loaders, or dump trucks.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and site protocols.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including rebar installation and site preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
