Great Escape is an outreach ministry of Littleton United Methodist Church (hereafter referred to as LUMC) dedicated to providing parents two, three, four or five day a week programs meeting the needs of children in a safe, caring, positive, loving, Christian atmosphere. Great Escape was started over 35 years ago as a Parent’s Day Out Program.
Our programs include faith-based curriculum aligned with Colorado Developmental Guidelines and are designed to meet student needs at each stage of development. Great Escape Early Learning Center if growing!! We are looking for fund and energetic lead toddler teachers that will provide a warm and nurturing environment to join our staff.
The ideal candidate is passionate about a child's early growth and development, able to adapt to a child's needs and plan stimulating activities. You will partner with a co-teachers to encourage, nurture, and engage with children at their level. We support our teachers to teach in their own unique way, much like they support their individual classroom of learners.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Meet the daily needs of the children.
2. Lesson planning and preparation.
3. Implementation of lesson plans.
4. Daily cleaning of the classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with other teachers.
6. Communicate with parents on a regular basis.
Requirements:
1. Lead Teacher qualification.
2. Experience as a classroom teacher.
3. Nurturing, friendly, reliable and a team player.
4. Certification in CPR/1st Aid, Standard Precautions and annual trainings will need to be completed if not already complete.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
