Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Golf Cart Technician to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and customizing golf carts. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with electrical systems, and experienced with installing accessories and troubleshooting common golf cart issues.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on golf carts
- Troubleshoot and service lithium battery systems, including wiring, chargers, and controllers
- Install accessories such as:
- Soundbars and audio systems
- LED light bars and accent lighting
- Fans, mirrors, windshields, and other upgrades
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Identify issues quickly and recommend effective repairs
- Test carts after repairs or installations to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding repairs and timelines
Qualifications
- Experience working on golf carts, small vehicles, or similar equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with lithium battery systems is a major plus
- Ability to install aftermarket accessories cleanly and correctly
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with brands such as EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha, etc.
- 12V/48V/51.2V/72V/76V electrical system experience
- Custom cart builds or modifications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods
