Overview
Founded in 2008, R&L Restoration provides property damage restoration, reconstruction, and commercial construction services throughout the Houston area. We handle projects ranging from emergency property damage and insurance restoration to extensive reconstruction and commercial projects.
We are seeking a Restoration / Construction Project Estimator to prepare accurate, detailed estimates for property damage restoration, reconstruction, and commercial construction projects.
This position will work closely with project managers, property owners, insurance professionals, subcontractors, and vendors to develop scopes of work, prepare estimates, and help move projects from initial assessment through approval and production.

- Water damage reconstruction
- Fire damage reconstruction
- Storm damage reconstruction
- Structural repairs
- Interior and exterior reconstruction
- Commercial property restoration
- Tenant and property improvements
- Roofing and exterior repairs
- Large-loss restoration and reconstruction
Qualifications
- Experience with restoration, reconstruction, construction estimating, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, labor, and estimating practices.
- Experience preparing detailed scopes of work and project estimates.
- Familiarity with insurance restoration claims and the estimating process.
- Xactimate experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read construction plans, specifications, measurements, and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing scope items.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
