Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to join our team to coordinate our Wild Land Fire Division, EMS deployment division, EMS standby event division as well as our logistics team division (federal disaster EMS support- Safety/Security/Ground Crew Support). This pivotal role will be based in our operational headquarters and will contribute significantly to our mission of providing operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of Fire/EMS/Logistics services to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to optimize service offerings.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand service reach and community impact.
- Manage projects related to process improvement and operational enhancements.
- Foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Ensure teams are credentialed and prepared for deployments
- Ensure equipment is mission ready.
- Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management within the EMS, Fire or Emergency Preparedness sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing senior teams effectively.
- Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Proficient in project management methodologies.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with experience in contract management.
- Business development experience is a plus.
- EMS/Fire backround or willingness to cross train.
- Ability to deploy and lead teams, being remote for several weeks.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
