About the Role
As a CNC Turning Specialist, you will play a vital role in our production department by operating and programming advanced lathe equipment to create high-precision components. Your technical expertise in machining and blueprint interpretation will directly impact our ability to deliver quality parts while maintaining efficient, safe, and continuous manufacturing workflows.
Responsibilities-
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to meet exact engineering tolerances and design specifications.

Ensure consistent product quality by conducting thorough inspections and utilizing precision measuring tools.

Manage tooling inventory and perform routine machine maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.

Optimize production efficiency by managing material flow and performing necessary deburring and finishing tasks.

Document production progress by accurately maintaining inspection logs, travelers, and digital control files.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in quality initiatives and team updates.

Support the growth of the team by assisting in the training and onboarding of new operators.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with established safety protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of hands-on experience with CNC lathe operation and programming.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong command of precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers.

Solid mathematical aptitude for working with fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Familiarity with ISO-9001 quality management standards.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
