Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, equipment, and materials using appropriate manual handling techniques and heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or cranes when necessary
- Safely transport items to designated locations, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist with inventory management by organizing materials and ensuring accurate order picking using RF scanners or other warehouse technology
- Prepare items for shipping or receiving, including wrapping, securing, and labeling shipments according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency during all operations
- Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of material handling equipment and personal protective gear
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during loading, unloading, and transportation activities
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to access multiple job sites throughout the day
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling is preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, or heavy lifting tools—certifications are a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous
- Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Experience in warehouse operations or supervision roles is beneficial but not required
