Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Server. As a Server, you will be taking food and drink orders, running food, taking payments, and bringing a smile to our customers faces! This position requires service-minded approach to customers, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to handle cash transactions.
This is a tipped position.
Our servers operate on a "team-waiting" model. All dine in customers are shared between the waitstaff and tips are divided equally.
Duties:
- Greet guests
- Provide menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Relay orders to the kitchen or bar staff
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and assist with table set-up
Skills:
- Friendly, team-oriented approach
- Proficiency in using POS systems, such Clover POS, for order processing - BONUS!
- Previous experience in food service industry is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members
