Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and improving the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. In this role, you will perform a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across various areas.
We work in a lot of retail and hospitality spaces and so we are looking for someone who is comfortable providing good person to person customer service.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hands-on work and problem-solving in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, doors, windows, flooring, and other structural components
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete various tasks such as cutting, drilling, sanding, or assembling
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting and climbing to access hard-to-reach areas or perform repairs at elevated heights
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and implementation of OSHA safety standards to ensure a secure work environment
- Utilize respiratory protection equipment when working in dusty or hazardous environments and adhere strictly to safety regulations during all operations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse systems and equipment
- Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding comfortably while maintaining safety protocols
- Familiarity with the use of power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and other handheld equipment
- A good hang.
We primarily work in Davidson County or close by. The vast majority of our jobs are during normal business hours.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
