The Boltakke Law Group is a boutique immigration law firm headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized legal representation to immigrants and families navigating the U.S. immigration system. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and driven entry-level Immigration Attorney to join our team.
We will train the right person — but you must be a self-starter who genuinely cares about immigrants and takes pride in your work.

Who We're Looking For
This is not a clock-in, clock-out position. Our clients are real people with real stakes — asylum seekers, families facing removal, individuals building their lives in this country. We need someone who feels that weight and shows up ready to fight for them every day.
The ideal candidate is:
- Hungry to learn immigration law and build meaningful relationships
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple active cases
- Genuinely passionate about immigrant rights and access to justice
- A strong communicator who treats every client with dignity and respect
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Minimum Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing in any U.S. state (Virginia or Maryland preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required; additional languages a plus
- Prior immigration experience helpful but not required — we will train
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court
- Prepare and file applications with USCIS, the Immigration Court and BIA
- Prepare and file motions, memos and briefs to the Immigration Court and BIA
- Appear at bond hearings, master calendar hearings, and individual merits hearings
- Communicate directly and regularly with clients throughout their cases

Salary commiseration can be discussed and considered based off of relative experience and certification
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
