POSITION SUMMARY
Balanced Health Botanicals is looking for a Formulation Specialist responsible for using equipment to assist with R & D projects, product formulation/compounding, manufacturing, packaging, and completing other steps along the production line. This person will also be responsible for ensuring the machinery operates correctly and produces the desired results. This person must act as a leader in our manufacturing facility.
CORE JOB DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
· Calibrating equipment and monitoring gauges.
· Investigate anything on the machine that does not sound, act, or seem right and make adjustments.
· Perform cleaning and maintenance as scheduled.
· Report anything affecting the assembly line to management.
· Assist with training new hires.
· Effectively and efficiently operate production machinery.
· Formulation/compounding of products manufactured in house
· Assist with Research and Development of new products
· Assemble goods on production lines.
· Meet and exceed production goals.
· Ensure production processes meet quality standards and comply with all regulations.
· Conduct workplace inspections to ensure it meets occupation safety standards.
· Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all tasks
· Act as a leader in the facility.
· Other tasks as needed.
· Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, completing Batch Production Records as directed by QA, performing in process QA checks and notifying QA of all deviations, following all procedures and SOPs, adhering to cGMP requirements at all times, maintaining sanitary manufacturing operation, ensuring training is complete and up to date, completing documentation according to good documentation practices.

· Knowledge of batch/lot tracking systems
· Exposure to ERP and inventory software systems
· Experience processing manufacturing orders

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
