Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Glass Window Glazier to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass windows and related fixtures on commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in glass fabrication, installation, and finishing.
Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine the specifications for window and glass installations.
- Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, shaping, and fitting glass panels according to project requirements.
- Install glass windows, doors, and fixtures with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and related materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct quality control measurements to ensure proper fit, finish, and sealant application such as caulking.
- Assist with fabrication tasks, including trimming, assembly, and metal stud framing as needed for window surrounds or structural support.
- Follow detailed construction plans and blueprints to execute remodeling or new installation projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in glazing and carpentry work.
- Strong knowledge of glass materials handling, installation techniques, and fixture installation.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes.
- Prior construction site experience with a focus on glazing or remodeling projects.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Basic handyman skills including caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and general remodeling tasks.
Preferred qualifications include construction experience with a focus on window installation or glass fabrication; familiarity with construction plans; experience with drywall or metal framing; and certifications in safety or specialized glazing techniques.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
