We are seeking an experienced Access Control and Security Systems Technician who is ready to become a key leader within our organization. Responsibilities
- Install, program, commission, and troubleshoot commercial electronic security systems.
- Service and maintain access control, gate systems, CCTV, visitor management, and related low-voltage technologies.
- Diagnose system issues quickly and provide permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes.
- Lead installations while maintaining exceptional workmanship and professionalism.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and office staff.
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
- Represent the company professionally at every customer location.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable:
Access Control
- Brivo
- CDVI
- PDK (ProdataKey)
- ICT (Integrated Control Technology)
Community & Visitor Management
Video Surveillance
Gate Systems
Experience with comparable commercial security platforms is also welcome.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electronic security or low-voltage experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with access control, CCTV, gate operators, networking, and structured cabling.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely work on ladders and lift equipment as required.
