Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and independent therapist (LLPC - we are not able to hire an LLMSW at this time) to join our practice as a 1099 contractor. This role offers significant flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to build a caseload that aligns with your clinical interests and availability. You will have full control over your schedule and client selection, with no minimum caseload requirements. Pay will be based on insurance rates or the cash rates that you offer. Therapists have flexibility in offering sliding-scale or pro bono sessions.
Compensation:
- LLPC: Fee split of 65/35

Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.
- Implement specialized therapies for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, or other behavioral health conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case records.
- Engage in data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate conflict management and behavior management strategies for clients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Uphold confidentiality standards while managing sensitive medical records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy in clinical or school settings.
- Strong background in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, behavioral health therapies, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards under HIPAA, and electronic health record systems.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for mental health disorders and implementing case management strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, families, and diverse populations within community or educational environments.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education practices, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to conflict resolution and patient care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Current LLPC licensure (or eligibility)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
