Position Summary
BK Management is seeking a full-time Property Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support the maintenance operations of our residential property portfolio. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, coordinating repairs and projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping maintain safe, well-maintained homes for our residents. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality work performance
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor completion of work orders and maintenance projects
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet company standards
- Diagnose and assist with complex repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, gutters, lighting, and HVAC systems
- Coordinate make-ready activities to ensure timely unit turnovers
- Assist in developing maintenance schedules for preventative maintenance programs
- Identify and report major repair needs, safety concerns, and capital improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed to complete repairs and projects
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Participate in an on-call rotation and assist with after-hours emergencies as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior residential property maintenance experience required
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Must be able to regularly perform repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, and pinching
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(On-call rotation as needed)
