THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Printing Customer Support Specialist to serve as an important link between our customers, sales team, production team, and suppliers. This role is ideal for someone who understands the printing industry, enjoys helping customers, and can keep multiple projects moving accurately and on schedule.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from order entry through completion.
- Prepare quotes and purchase orders and help coordinate job requirements.
- Monitor order status and workflow to help ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met.
- Communicate proactively with customers, sales representatives, production team members, prospects, and suppliers.
- Build strong, professional relationships with customers and internal team members.
- Help resolve questions or issues quickly with a solutions-focused approach.
- Stay current on industry products, capabilities, trends, and continuing education.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, team-oriented workplace.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of sales, customer support, customer service, or account support experience within the printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of print terminology, production processes, and customer order requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organization, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working within firm deadlines.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
