American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular imaging role requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Full-time, 40-hour work week

Performs general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
-
Schedule flexibility required, including willingness to cover other shifts as needed

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
-
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
-
Active BLS required
-
ARDMS certification in AB, OB-GYN (RDMS), and RVT required
-
Active state license if applicable
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle awkward loads up to 100+ lbs as needed

Must be able to stand 7–8 hours and walk 6–7 hours per workday

Proficiency with PACS systems required

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Perform high-quality general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with facility protocols

Set up and assist radiologist during procedures

Utilize EMR systems to generate, complete, and manage exam orders

Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision
-
Responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions to service personnel and supervisors
-
Assist with patient transport as needed

Collaborate cross-departmentally to improve patient and staff experiences
-
Maintain clinical competency through in-house education, new protocol training, and equipment familiarization
