Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform advanced clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote optimal patient health. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across various settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and community health programs. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physiological evaluations.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across a broad spectrum of specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
- Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and patient data management.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Provide telehealth services to extend access to quality care for remote or underserved populations.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Demonstrated experience working in primary care settings with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills including physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and procedural techniques like suturing or venipuncture.
- Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis codes such as ICD-10/ICD-9 and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining excellent client communication skills.
- Critical care experience or hospital/ER background is highly desirable; experience working with children and elderly populations is a plus.
- Familiarity with specialty areas such as gastroenterology, hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, or occupational health is advantageous.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
