Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your commitment to safety and efficiency, will ensure timely deliveries of freight, including refrigerated loads, hazardous materials, and specialized cargo such as flatbed or tanker shipments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with 13 speed manual transmission across designated routes, including OTR routes, ensuring compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Transport freight efficiently using GPS navigation systems to follow optimal routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after trips.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transportation.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience of at least 1 year in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Must have experience with long hood trucks.
- Specialized for Flatbeds.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient OTR driving.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements.
- Experience in truck loading/unloading and manual handling of freight cargo.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.

Pay: $1,778.78 - $2,108.13 per week
