American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 3 years of OR scrubbing experience across multiple surgical specialties for a hospital-based OR position in Yakima, WA.

Hospital-based OR setting in a 226-bed non-profit community hospital with 7 ORs at the main campus and 3 ORs at an attached ASC
-
Adult and pediatric surgical case types including ENT, general, GI, GYN, orthopedic, robotics (DaVinci), and urology
-
Epic EMR system in use
-
12-hour day shifts, with shift times of 0645–1715 or 0645–1915 depending on 10- or 12-hour scheduling; includes a rotating day off

Approximately 1 weekend rotation per month

On-call required for day shift only: 4–5 shifts per month from end of shift to 0700 the following day; weekend call is 24 hours

No floating required

Minimum of 3 years of surgical technology experience

Hands-on scrubbing experience in ENT, general, GI, GYN, orthopedic, robotics (DaVinci), and urology

BLS certification required

CST credential required (may be waived for candidates with 15+ years of experience)

Active WA state license required — must be in hand or have proof of application submitted 6+ weeks prior; license required if applicable

At least 1 supervisor-level reference required for consideration; a 2nd reference will be needed prior to start
