The Wildland Fire Billing Specialist supports the financial operations of the wildland fire program by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, reimbursement packets, and financial records for fire-related activities. This non-student hourly position is responsible for billing, accounts payable and receivable functions, recordkeeping, and reporting to support compliance, expenditure tracking, and operational funding.

Position does not supervise
- a combination of education and relevant experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience in billing, accounts payable/receivable, financial recordkeeping, or administrative finance support.
- Experience using CSU Kuali Financial System, CDPS fire billing portal, Workday (preferred), and Microsoft Excel at a high functioning level.
- Experience working in public sector finance, wildland fire operations, or emergency management. Knowledge of NIMS/ICS principles and federal wildland fire reimbursement processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and extreme attention-to-detail skills.
