Position Summary
StageRight Venues is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This role will support the VP of Finance in overseeing the accounting operations of multiple venue locations and corporate entities. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, experience managing the month-end close process, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
This position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to play a key role in the financial operations of a dynamic live entertainment company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate monthly close activities for multiple entities.
- Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of Staff Accountants.
- Support external audits and year-end tax preparation activities.
- Monitor and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures.
- Assist with cash management, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and department managers on financial matters.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience managing the month-end close process.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience reviewing and reconciling complex balance sheet accounts.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or CPA candidate.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Multi-entity accounting experience.
- Experience within hospitality, entertainment, venue management, or related industries.
- Experience with ERP and accounting software systems.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
