Reports To: QC Manager
Basic Functions:
Under the guidance of the QC Manager, the material handler/receiving clerk will handle incoming and outgoing material, deliveries, and shipments effectively, as well as maintain accurate documentation.
Major Duties:
1. Follow procedure in obtaining and processing incoming and outgoing material/supplies.
2. Maintain accurate documentation on incoming and outgoing material/supplies.
3. Handle any issues with incoming/outgoing material or inventory.
4. Assist Accounting in any issues that may arise with material or supplies.
5. Ensure material inventories are maintained.
6. Operate pallet jacks and/or forklift to place incoming material in assigned areas.
7. Use of tape measure / caliper and other tools as needed to perform dimensional checks.
8. Perform 3-way match between PO, packing list and physical material description / count.
9. Write non-conformance report on any discrepancy identified on incoming material.
Qualifications:
· Must possess good written and verbal communication.
· 2+ years related work experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
· Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to multitask.
