Duties
- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen management, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to uphold service excellence and operational standards.
- Manage inventory control, food production, and food safety procedures to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Conduct shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand while controlling labor costs.
- Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring outstanding customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Implement staff hiring processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.
- Maintain high standards of food handling, safety protocols, and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations.
- Coordinate special events such as sports viewing parties or catering services to enhance guest engagement.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food management within casual dining or sports bar settings.
- Proven management skills with a background in supervising hospitality teams and leading restaurant operations effectively.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Skilled in inventory control, food safety management, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to train staff on food handling, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Experience in managing kitchen operations alongside front-of-house teams in fast-paced environments such as quick service or casual dining restaurants.
- Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration while maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift management, staff interviewing, and event coordination effectively.
