We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim/Contract HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide full-cycle HR leadership during a maternity leave coverage period (approximately 56 months, including initial training, leave coverage and transition time).
This role will serve as the sole HR lead for an employee population of ~115 and growing, managing the entire employee lifecycle-from recruitment support and onboarding to payroll oversight, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, compensation and performance management.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient HR professional who can operate independently, execute established processes, and partner closely with leadership-particularly the EVP, Finance.
Role must be local to Roswell, GA and be able to commute to Roswell office at least 3X/Week.
Key Responsibilities:
General HR Management
Serve as the go-to HR partner for managers and employees on all people-related matters
Maintain all employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality, including PTO, payroll changes, employee compensation and job changes.
Talent AcquisitionOnboarding
Oversee the recruitment process to support organizational growth
Collaborate with hiring managers and the Recruiter to create clear, effective job descriptions and align on hiring needs
Work closely with the Recruiter to ensure a streamlined and timely recruitment experience for all candidates
Lead the onboarding process to deliver a welcoming, organized, and engaging experience for new employees
BenefitsCompensation
Administer benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.) and serve as liaison with benefit vendors
Coordinate 2026 annual open enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related questions
Lead payroll administration working closely with managed payroll vendor
PerformanceCulture
Coordinate performance management processes (goal setting, check-ins, reviews)
Investigate and resolve employee relations issues professionally and fairly
Adhere to established compensation strategy
Will participate in event planning of employee events and end of year holiday party.
ComplianceRisk Management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
Manage leave requests (FMLA, disability, PTO, etc.) and track documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a small to mid-size company
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and work independently
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office products
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
