Our company operates 7 days a week. The start time is 9:50 AM and can run to 8:20 PM. Part-time positions are 2-3 days; Full-time positions are 4 days. Both positions consist of 10-hour shifts. Full-time positions are preferred and will be prioritized. Although we are typically flexible in offering set schedules based on candidate preference, we do require 1 shift be a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Drivers work all holidays except New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day (and the day after). We do accommodate time off for religious holidays, if applicable.
Job Description:
Drivers are required to load their routes in the morning in a company-provided cargo van. Drivers utilize a delivery app, which populates set routes. Routes typically consist of over 250+ packages, ranging from small envelopes to packages weighing up to 50-75lbs. Depending on whether it’s a rural route or residential route, stop counts can range from as low as 110 stops to 190 stops. Drivers are expected to maintain average paces of 15 to 20 stops an hour on rural routes and 25-30 stops an hour on residential routes. Drivers deliver to customers at businesses, homes, apartments, and package lockers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a cargo van to transport packages to customers
- Adhere to all local & state laws, traffic regulations, and company policies
- Maintain safe driving practices and conduct safety inspections on company vehicles
- Load packages into an assigned cargo van before starting the route
- Efficiently use designated devices for navigation, reading customer instructions/preferences, scanning packages, and taking photos of packages
- Follow set delivery schedules/routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Stay on pace to deliver all packages within the designated time frame despite various, common obstacles (weather, dogs/animals, road closures, etc)
- Maintain exceptional customer service by adhering to customer instructions and respecting customer property
- Follow specific, company procedures pertaining to timecards, scheduling, accident/incident reporting, etc.
- Support the team by maintaining exceptional scorecard metrics and assisting other drivers on their routes when needed
Physical Demands:
This is a physically demanding position. Drivers are consistently moving throughout the day getting in and out of cargo vans, walking to delivery points (such as front and back doors), and moving/lifting packages that can weigh 50-75lbs. Drivers should be able to comfortably crouch/bend, and grip packages, carts, van handles, etc.
This position also requires good vision; any correctional lenses required on a driver’s license must be used while working. Drivers should have strong close/distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have no issues seeing while driving at night.
Requirements:

- Must have a valid driver’s license (not expired) with a clean driving record
