CDL-A Truck Driver – No Experience Needed - Recent Graduates Welcome

Markhams Work Services is now hiring new CDL-A graduates to run established cross-country lanes with consistent miles, competitive weekly pay, and a team that is committed to helping you build a long-term career
Pay & Compensation
- Weekly pay: $1,300–$1,900/week
- Annual equivalent: $68,000–$98,000/year
- CPM: 60¢-70¢ (increases by 1 CPM each year for up to 15 years)
- Miles: 2,500–3,000 per week
Home Time
Orientation
- Our one-day paid orientation covers safety procedures, equipment familiarization, drug screening, and a driver skills assessment. You'll receive $300 in orientation pay with your first paycheck, and transportation and hotel accommodations are provided.
Freight & Routes
- Drivers haul 100% no-touch dry general commodity freight across the lower 48 states, with the majority of routes operating throughout the 11 Western states. Consistent freight volumes and established lanes provide steady miles and year-round driving opportunities.
Equipment
- 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
- Automatic transmission only - manual restriction accepted
- Assigned truck

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- No prior experience needed - new graduates welcome
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must reside within 75 miles of Fremont, CA
- Basic load securement principles
- No major moving violations in the last 12 months
- MVR checked for last 3 years
- Background check for last 10 years
- Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Operate automatic tractors with 48–53 foot trailers
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
