Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Duties
- Process payroll accurately and timely using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday, ADP, or Ceridian, ensuring all employee data is correctly entered and maintained.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, changes, and compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and workers' compensation policies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance management by staying current with employment & labor law updates, OSHA standards, and HR legal requirements.
- Manage employee relations related to payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies through effective communication and data analysis using Excel or other data collection tools.
- Support HR sourcing initiatives by assisting with onboarding processes like employee orientation, talent acquisition coordination, and training & development activities.
- Maintain confidentiality handling sensitive information related to compensation, benefits, and personnel records with integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management tasks such as organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to enhance workforce strategies.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management principles and human resources management best practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
- Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS), including Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, or similar platforms like Paylocity or Dayforce.
- Excellent communication skills for clear employee relations and training sessions; adept at conflict management when necessary.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities using Excel or similar tools for payroll processing and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with employment law in talent management and employment & labor law compliance standards.
- Experience in benefits administration, workforce management strategies, and performance management processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while supporting HR department initiatives such as recruitment or personnel administration.

Pay: $27.47 - $33.08 per hour
