Job Overview
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner at The Women’s Hospital, you’ll be part of a compassionate, highly skilled team dedicated to supporting our most vulnerable patients newborns, infants, and children. In this PRN (as-needed) role, you’ll provide essential respiratory care services based on physician orders, helping deliver life-changing care when families need it most.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be trusted to:
- Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures and assist with specialized assessments
- Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapies tailored to each patient’s needs
- Administer medications and provide education on equipment use and proper technique for families and caregivers
- Respond quickly in emergent situations and perform CPR when needed
- Provide percussion and postural drainage therapies to support airway clearance
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, family-centered care
What You Bring
We’re looking for dedicated, confident clinicians who are passionate about pediatric and neonatal care. Required qualifications include:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
- Current state licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- If assigned to neonatal/pediatric critical care areas, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
