Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote dignity and independence
- Support medication administration with reminders and assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or social activities to foster community engagement
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
- Document client interactions, care provided, and any changes in condition; communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia through specialized memory care techniques and patient observation
- Follow all home health protocols, including hospice care procedures when applicable; adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality
Qualifications
- All applicants must be members of a local church and comfortable praying with and providing spiritual encouragement to clients.
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is a plus, but for the right candidate, we provide paid training.
- Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining compassion and patience
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; understanding of HIPAA compliance standards

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
