Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware with care.
- Deliver food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Support food safety protocols by handling food properly during delivery and maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing as needed.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for tray setups or moving supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in person.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including bussing or food running roles.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or banquet settings is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
