Key Responsibilities
Working under the guidance of a Nursing Supervisor, you will deliver compassionate, personalized care following each client’s unique plan:
- Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing/undressing, hygiene, oral care, toileting, and monitoring vital signs or measurements as required.
- Daily Living Support: Prepare meals, assist with feeding, perform light housekeeping, change linens, and assist with specialized care (e.g., emptying catheters/ostomy bags).
- Companion & Transport Services: Escort clients to medical appointments, shopping runs, and enjoyable outdoor activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of documented healthcare/caregiving experience.
- Certifications & Health Clearances: Valid CPR certification and a negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray).
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license with an insured, reliable personal vehicle.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
- High empathy, patience, and dedication to client well-being.
- Strong commitment to client privacy, confidentiality, and medical record security.
