Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, and food production appliances
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Execute food preparation tasks such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly for high-volume production environments
- Spanish is a plus but NOT required
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience with food handling, food production, and operating kitchen equipment in high-volume settings
- Familiarity with culinary techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across dishes
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
- Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
