As a Lawn Care Leader in Training, you will be responsible for your day-to-day duties within the technical department, ensuring you are meeting and exceeding your deliverables. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will complete production routes, as well as daily, weekly, and monthly SMART goals. Responsibilities
- Ensuring that customer service requirements are being met
- Executing the company’s strategy for your future development
- Completing programs and training to ensure that you are aligned with the goals of your department
- Help grow your route and the business through daily sales efforts while earning commissions and bonuses
- Tracking daily production and product calibration to ensure guidelines are met
- Completing your route each day, and communicating changes effectively
- Ensuring all technical equipment is in order
- Preparing truck reports
- Performing other related duties and responsibilities, as required, to meet the goals of the company
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Proven time management
- Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
- Strong technical knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid pesticide applicators license, or willingness to obtain one
Education
- High school graduate minimimum
- Secondary and Post-secondary education (valuable asset but not required)
Experience
- 2-3 years in a related industry is preferred, but previous experience in lawn care is considered an asset and not a requirement!
