Ogram Heating and Cooling is located in Andover, Ohio and has been servicing Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania since 1980. We specialize in residential service and replacement, new construction, light commercial and have a full sheet metal fabrication shop for custom jobs.

We are currently seeking two experienced HVAC tradesmen who can perform residential HVAC system installations.
Duties
- Install, assemble, and commission HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications.
- Conduct system troubleshooting using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and perform repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) equipment.
- Interpret technical schematics, and HVAC design documents to ensure precise installation and system integration.
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration units to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose equipment issues through comprehensive troubleshooting procedures and execute effective repairs or replacements promptly.
- Collaborate with property managers or property maintenance teams to coordinate installations or repairs while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed for compliance and quality assurance.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation.
- Service technician experience with expertise in HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, boilers, air conditioning units, and ammonia refrigeration.
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, and plumbing connections.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, pipe cutters, and other essential equipment for installation and repair tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC system maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, electrical systems diagnostics, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while applying mechanical skills effectively in the field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA certification required for handling refrigerants; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or ammonia refrigeration are advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
