Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking per diem Recovery Specialists for our Grace House residential program.
Grace House is a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery located in Northampton, MA. The program can house up to fourteen mothers with children in a collective living environment, where they share space and resources in an effort to build a recovery community and encourage peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success.
Your role as a Recovery Specialist:
The Recovery Specialist works within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support, and assists families in need of substance abuse treatment by providing the education and support needed to maintain a life in recovery. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or better required.
- 1 years experience working in the substance use/mental health field preferred
- Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers
- Staff will monitor female clients during urine collection for for substance use screening purposes and conduct periodic room checks
- Female applicants encouraged to apply
- All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle
Per Diem pay rate is $18.00/hr.
Schedule: Flexible - We have per diem openings for all three shifts for this 24/7 program.
