Duties
- Deliver interactive tutoring sessions utilizing advanced learning technology tools to enhance understanding and retention
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Manage learning environments effectively, ensuring a positive and focused atmosphere for learners of all ages
- Cover a broad range of subjects including Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Discrete Math, Statistics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Anatomy, Physiology knowledge, Data Structures, Machine Learning concepts, Electrical Engineering principles, Chemical Engineering topics, and more
- Support students with diverse needs by applying special education techniques and adapting lesson plans for early childhood education or preschool levels when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and prepare progress reports for parents or program coordinators
Experience
- Proven experience working with students across various age groups in classroom or tutoring settings
- Strong background in teaching or tutoring in Math (including Geometry, Algebra, Calculus), Verbal skills (including Critical Reading and Writing), and related STEM fields such as Chemistry (Organic & Biochemistry), Biology (Microbiology & Genetics), Physics (Mechanics & Anatomy), Computer Science (Data Structures & Machine Learning), Electrical & Chemical Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to manage environments effectively while fostering a motivating learning atmosphere
- Experience working with children or adult learners in educational settings
- Ability to adapt lessons for students with special needs requirements
