Position Summary:
The Senior Rigging Project Manager is responsible for selling rigging services to businesses and industrial or commercial establishments through in-person, telephone or web-based interaction. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for planning, managing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines while meeting a budget based on branch target margins; this includes acquiring and coordinating the efforts of equipment, personnel and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to timelines. The Project Manager will also define the objectives of the project and oversee quality control throughout its cycle.
This individual will work closely with customers to understand required specifications and scope of work, and assist the operations teams by communicating job needs, drafting proposals, determine and monitor overall project costs including materials or equipment needed, and manpower or labor requirements and maintain shared spreadsheets with branch leadership. The Senior Project manager will make sure all team members understand the purpose and scope.
Support the growth and mentorship of field leaders;

- Coach and mentor JPMs and Foreman
Responsible for daily check-ins with field teams to achieve employee development and performance management goals.
Help Leadership team with recruiting and hiring field positions and help identify those ready for promotion and advancement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Actively and consistently contact leads and manage prospect lists.
· Develop positive relationships with existing and new customers and build a solid customer base of recurring business.
· Coordinate job walks and assists with customer bids/estimates to accurately price projects and gather information on scope of work.
· Administer historical records by maintaining data on market/target areas and customer sales.
· Develop highly effective relationships with customers (internal and external), business partners, operations management, and support staff.
· Organize and manage projects and related data via Excel spreadsheets to ensure work order accuracy and provide 100% transparency as it relates to job costing, on time % and P&L throughout each job.
· Produce 3D Lift Plans for rigging and crane projects
· Stay informed of industry trends and changes in the target market area through research and monitoring competition.
· Assist in finding or developing resolutions to customer complaints and offer ongoing support. Compile reports of customer issues and offer reconciliation recommendations to management.
· Actively participate in operational meetings.
· This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a commitment of 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. The Sr. PM must be available to work extended hours as needed to meet client and business needs. Remote work is not available for this role; all duties will be performed at our Main Office.
· Local and out of town travel required.
· Provide oversight, evaluation, and improvement of the efficiency of the project management team. The team is to adhere to the management principles as established by the Senior Leadership Team.
· Participate in customer site visits, proposal development, and contract development/reviews to ensure a complete understanding of scope, contractual obligations, and risk of jobs.
· Other duties as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):
· Minimum three (3) to ten (10) years proven sales and field experience within the industrial or construction industries; direct crane and rigging knowledge or related field experience highly desired.
· Working knowledge of 3D Lift Planner and supporting programs.
· High school diploma or equivalent needed; technical or higher education helpful.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of sales techniques, and project management skills.
· Highly self-directed and self-motivated. Excellent time management skills.
· Ability to make decisions or problem-solve with limited instruction or information.
· Read and understand blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals.
· Use effective interpersonal and communication skills with ability to persuade and/or negotiate successfully using ethical practices.
· Computer knowledge using a Windows based system; ability to use email (Outlook) and basic Excel and Word functions.
· Professional demeanor and ability to adapt to differing audiences.
· Have a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This role involves a regular climate-controlled office environment. Extended time sitting using a computer, keyboard/mouse, and telephone. There will also be site-specific situations that may include climbing stairs or ladders, walk over uneven or rough terrain, and working in indoor or outdoor environments with exposure to inclement weather. Occasional lifting or moving objects up to 30 pounds.
