Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and replenishing supplies regularly
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine flooring conditions
- Follow established protocols for environmental services to uphold health and safety regulations such as OSHA standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to support hospital or facility requirements
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold cleanliness standards
- Adhere to all safety procedures related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols meticulously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues
