Summary/Objective
This individual will be responsible for performing work associated with the pulling, verification, and shipping of customer orders. Also responsible for loading customer orders on trailers for transport, and the unloading of raw materials as needed. Also responsible for following FIFO rule when filling customer orders and storing inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- · Receive in finished product as it comes out of production, adding signs to product until the lot has been released
- · Separate out of date, or out of specification product from ready to ship product
- · Check the website for open orders, printing packing lists and pulling product as needed
- · Make sure that all product that is shipped is the oldest, has been released, and is still within expiration date
- · Change status of customer orders on website as needed
- · Unload any trucks that come in with raw materials, lids, jars, etc.
- · Print packing lists for UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc. as needed
- · Inventory product as needed and communicate amounts to production dept.
- · Housekeeping of the department as needed including but not limited to: removal of waste, sweeping etc.
- · Communicate with inventory/procurement dept. for ordering or needed supplies: boxes, stretch wrap, packing tape, bubble wrap etc.
Requirements
- · High School Diploma or equivalent
- · Experience with computer applications
- · At least 1yr of warehouse loading/unloading trucks experience
Physical Requirements
- · Ability to walk and stand constantly, to lift 50 pounds
- · Must be able to obtain a forklift license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
