Inventory Manager / Operations Assistant

Position Summary
ParamontEO is seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Manager / Operations Assistant to join our growing operations team. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy across our organization while supporting operational efficiency through data analysis, process improvement, and supply chain management.
The ideal candidate has a background in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Business Analytics. Electrical distribution experience is welcomed but not required. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving puzzles, thrives on organization, loves data, and takes pride in making systems more accurate and efficient.

Primary Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Reviewing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
- Analyze inventory variances and determine root causes.
- Develop and monitor cycle count programs.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Improve inventory accuracy while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze operational data and create actionable recommendations.
Supply Chain & Purchasing Support
- Monitor inventory replenishment strategies.
- Assist with forecasting and inventory planning.
- Work closely with suppliers and purchasing to optimize inventory investment.
- Support purchasing decisions through data-driven analysis.
Data Analytics
- Build reports using Excel and other business intelligence tools.
- Measure key performance indicators including:
- Inventory Accuracy
- Inventory Turns
- Fill Rate
- Excess Inventory
- Stockouts
- Cycle Count Accuracy
- Present findings and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations Management
- Logistics
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Analytics
- or related field
3+years of experience in inventory, operations, supply chain or logistics
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience working with ERP systems
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
Electrical industry experience is not required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
