Job Overview:
Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility Worker to support various properties with general maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and weather-related tasks. This role helps supplement maintenance crews during peak workloads, staffing gaps, or weather changes and requires frequent travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general maintenance tasks including repairs, equipment upkeep, and site prep

Clean work areas and equipment; prepare and store tools as directed

Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and leaf blowing
-
Support crews by supplying tools, materials, and operating equipment as instructed

Report issues, damages, or hazards to supervisors
-
Respond to winter weather events by performing mandatory snow removal, salting, and pretreatment
-
Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and Fair Housing regulations
-
Perform various unskilled labor tasks across service centers and properties
-
Carry out other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Ability to operate lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
-
Willingness to work in different roles based on daily needs

Strong understanding of safety procedures and attention to detail

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
-
Manual dexterity to safely operate tools and machinery
-
Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
-
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Valid driver’s license is required.

Use of a vehicle for the duration of each scheduled shift is mandatory.
