JOB DESCRIPTION
The Division of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Newberry College invites applications for a part time instructor of Spanish, starting August 11, 2025, to teach up to 9 credit hours (i.e., 3 sections) of Spanish 101. Duties of a part-time lecturer include instruction, class preparation, grading, and office hours. Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
EDUCATIONAL OR OTHER HIRING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Ph.D. in Spanish (preferred) or master’s in Spanish (required). Experience in college and/or university teaching preferred.
