About the Role
We are looking to hire a Senior FCCS Consolidation Accountant on the Global Consolidations & Intercompany Team to work on a multitude of projects and streamline processes. You will become a subject matter expert in data governance, multiple entity structuring, foreign exchange matters, and the consolidation process via FCCS (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close). You will act as a cross-functional business partner to implement automation and create improvements to optimize the month-end close. You should work well in a dynamic environment, be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and prioritize and deliver on tasks at hand.
What You'll Do
- Execute and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations in FCCS, including data loads, eliminations, intercompany matching, journals, close orchestration, and consolidation troubleshooting
- Serve as the primary FCCS subject matter expert, owning day-to-day operations and ongoing optimization
- Lead the upskilling and training of the consolidation and broader accounting team on FCCS functionality, consolidation processes, and best practices to enhance system adoption and close efficiency
- Provide recommendations on FCCS application design decisions, including dimension architecture, hierarchy design, ownership setup, and consolidation logic, serving as the FCCS functional authority
- Analyze and explain foreign exchange impacts to the P&L, balance sheet, and equity, leveraging FCCS dimension logic to support accounting conclusions
- Partner closely with the System team to configure, enhance, and troubleshoot FCCS, including rule changes, automation, close acceleration, and reporting improvements
- Support FCCS upgrades and optimizations, including requirements definition, design, build, testing, and deployment
- Manage FCCS implications for entity lifecycle events, including mergers, dissolutions, ownership changes, and functional currency updates
- Support financial system integrations related to acquisitions, including Chart of Account mapping, validation, parallel testing, and cutover activities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working in consolidations, master data governance or as an international accountant
- Experience with Oracle Cloud suite of products (FCCS, EDMCS)
- Experience in system implementation or upgrades
- Individual should work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders
- Big 4 experience, consulting or audit experience with multinational engagements
- CPA certification (or working towards it)

For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
