Job Overview
Bible Babies Learning Academy is seeking a dependable and flexible Substitute/Float Teacher to provide support throughout the center. This position works with children of all age groups by covering classrooms, assisting teachers, maintaining classroom ratios, and ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom coverage as needed throughout the center.
- Assist lead and assistant teachers with daily classroom activities.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety at all times.
- Follow classroom schedules, routines, and lesson plans.
- Help with meals, diapering, toileting, and nap time as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Follow all Alabama DHR licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications
- Previous childcare experience is preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable.
- Must be willing to travel to all locations in Montgomery and Prattville.
- Must be flexible and willing to work with all age groups.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and Alabama Child Abuse/Neglect (CA/N) Central Registry screening.
